Royalty Program

Sound Recording Royalties

WDORO Inc. has submitted its 2026 Commercial Webcaster (CRB) minimum-fee materials to SoundExchange and is establishing its Licensee Direct account for statutory sound-recording royalty reporting and payment.

WDORO maintains performance records for music transmitted through the service and is building its reporting system around the census-level reporting requirements applicable to commercial webcasters.

WDORO is completing its Notice of Use of Sound Recordings Under Statutory License with the U.S. Copyright Office under 17 U.S.C. §§ 112 and 114.

Rights Administration

Music & Rights

SoundExchange administers statutory digital performance royalties for sound recordings. Rights in musical compositions and any programming requiring separate authorization are handled independently through applicable performing-rights organizations and/or direct rights-holder agreements.
